so_just_here: Since its been over 6 years of watching kdramas I was wondering earlier this year if I will still find dramas that get me captivated as in the first couple of years. Well, such dramas ARE harder to find these days but have snagged a couple this year so still doing okay. Current obsession is Phoenix (2004). Halfway through but it is for sure going into my list of beloved melodramas! Despite the tropes and the predictability, the acting and the writing is strong so I am enjoying how it unfolds. I still have a few more of the old-style melos that I am hoarding, but will they match the deliciousness of this drama??! Or will it be the last. Hope not!
