two that come to mind for me is yoon taewoong from reply 1997 and kim sanha’s mom in family by choice. spoiler warning for reply 1997 and family by choice.
i couldn’t stand yoon taewoong because >!he was a creep and a terrible brother. he only liked shiwon because of her older sister and constantly insulted her looks and weight. also there’s like a 10 year age gap between them and he started dating her when she was a minor?? also there’s no way he didn’t know that yoonjae liked shiwon, it was so obvious. and then when taewoong found out yoonjae was dating shiwon he told his brother he was going to try go after her one more time?? that’s crazy. cannot stand him.!< sanha's mother was a >!terrible, selfish mother. she left her two young children alone for days and one of them died, and she blamed her son for it, not herself?? then she abandons her other son and husband and then remarries, and has a another child. then 10 years later barges into his life and tries to take him to seoul. (which I don’t understand she resents and blames him for her daughters death.) sanha is then guilttripped into taking care of his mother for the next 10 years, dealing with her abuse. she didn’t want him to leave and tried to make him come back to seoul and break him and joowon up. she is such a bitter, hateful woman that couldn’t stand to let her son be happy that refused take any accountability.!<
